The law firm of Walters Law Group, through its founder, Lawrence G. Walters, and of counsel, Corey Silverstein, have been tapped to present a legal workshop focused on the issues facing live web cam and online dating sites, at the upcoming Xbiz Summit in Miami.  The attorneys will update Summit attendees on hot legal topics affecting these sites such as consumer protection complaints, lawsuits against online dating sites, 2257 compliance, Bitcoin payments, solicitation concerns, age verification, and other important issues.  As the online dating and camming business models have grown in popularity and profitability, so has the attention these sites are receiving from both the media and government enforcement agencies. With the lines between webcam models, dating site members, and escorts continually being blurred, significant legal concerns may arise. Walters Law Group has actively represented some of the largest stakeholders in the online dating and camming field, and will bring its expertise to this Workshop to assist attendees in shoring up legal compliance obligations, and mitigating risks.  The 50 minute Workshop is slated to begin at 3pm, on May 15, 2014.
