Neil Braslow, Associate

Neil D. Braslow is an Associate with Walters Law Group, and focuses his First Amendment practice on business matters, intellectual property issues, and transactional agreements. He regularly counsels clients on contractual and transactional issues of all types, such as advertiser agreements, affiliate marketing, gaming, licensing, privacy protection, service contracts, web development agreements, and website terms of use.

Mr. Braslow received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in 2009. He graduated summa cum laude and was a member of Beta Theta Pi social fraternity.While in college, Mr. Braslowworked for the Central Florida Sports Commission onthe coordination and management of various collegiate sporting events.

Mr. Braslow graduated from Nova Southeastern University – Shepard Broad Law Center in 2012. While in law school, he held several positions at sports, entertainment, and media organizations. Mr. Braslow worked for the NHL organization Florida Panthers and assisted with the daily operational management; Q2 Sports and Entertainment where he assisted a NFL certified agent with contract analysis and negotiations, marketing, recruiting, and scouting of NFL prospects; Michael L. Buckner Law Firm where he assisted in resolving collegiate athletics enforcement issues and processes for coaches and institutions confronted with allegations of NCAA, NAIA, NCJAA, and interscholastic athletics rules-violations; and the Ultimate Fighting Championship where he proposed, developed, and implemented a pre-fight drug testing program for the Nevada Athletic Commission and the UFC, creating a new industry standard.

After law school, Mr. Braslow founded Body Slam Consulting, which assists mixed martial arts companies and individuals with various business and legal matters.Mr. Braslowalso operated the sports website Dailyshootout.com which was featured on the ESPN television show “Pardon the Interruption.” He was published in “Managing Sports Events” by T. Christopher Greenwell, Leigh Ann Danzey-Bussell, David Shonk – Chapter 9 “Contract Considerations – An Attorney’s Perspective on Contracts.” He also was published on SportsNetworker.com, which featured his articles “How I Landed My Dream Sports Internship” and “Remember the Fans – Super Bowl XLV Seating Disaster.” Mr. Braslow was an inaugural SportsLaunch.net “Thirty Under 30” Rising Stars in the Sports Industry honoree in 2012, and was awarded again in 2013.

Prior to joining Walters Law Group, Mr. Braslow worked as in-house counsel at Emergency Services 24, Inc. In this position, he concentrated on providing corporate guidance in transactional law matters regarding issues relating to water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and flood damage. Mr. Braslow also worked as in-house counsel at SB Holdings I, LLC where he oversaw various hospitality compliance issues at hotel properties located on International Drive in Orlando, FL.

Mr. Braslow has also practiced as Associate Counsel for the Law Office of Richard Braslow in Toms River, New Jersey. There, he concentrated on administrative, municipal, regulatory, and transactional law matters involving emergency service organizations and various non-profit entities.

Mr. Braslow is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association, the Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts, & Sports Law Section, the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, the First Amendment Lawyers Association, and the National Cannabis Bar Association. He also serves as a co-owner and operator of Windup Sport and Social, which provides adult co-ed social sports leagues in the Central Florida area.

Mr. Braslow is admitted to practice in Florida and New Jersey.
